I want a Debate!!

This is my first installment. I hope I get it right.

I have been following the candidates (mostly the Republicans) as closely as a man with family a job and honey-dos to last me until 2020 as possible. I watch the debates and after they are over, I know no more about the candidates than I knew before it started. I am actually ashamed and embarrassed by the the total mindless quality of them.

I WANT A DEBATE!!!!! I want real topics; illegal immigration; terrorism, taxes, health-care; military spending; the weakening dollar and many more. I do not want the candidates to reference or speak about any other candidate. I want their positions, I want their plans. I want intelligence to rule the day. I want the media to stop embarrassing this nation. How dumb do they think we are?

I am sure 99% of those, who will actually vote, want the same. I know an intellegent debate does not make for exciting television. I ask you; should it? Shouldn’t it be about electing the best possible candidate for our party? Maybe main stream media (including Fox News) isn’t interested in boring television.

Hue, You do the best interviews I have heard in a long time. Maybe you should Take Romney, Mitt, (Huckabee or Thompson) and due a 3 hour debate. Either all at the same time or one hour each. Tell them in advance what the topics are and the rules. I know you have had them on your show individually, but if you changed the format to a issues debate (no callers) it would be some great listening. Please Help!

I think talk radio really has the opportunity to make this happen. Television may no longer be the right format. Radio on the other hand doesn’t overwhelm the senses with visual inputs and allows the brain to work.

Let’s talk issues and stop with fluff.
